It increases your offense stat.

The effectiveness depends on how much defense your enemy has.

In other words, it'll suck against someone with 5 defense but will be relatively good against someone with 150k+ defense

Actually I don't believe it, 15% increase means yours is a lot better than mine

that means using MC 3 turns in a row and getting luck stacks gives a 34.82% increase in dmg

I'll also add that I used it on someone with 200k gen def and got similar 20k dmg increase per stacks

imo dmg boost is more equiv to 8-10% at best, although even being generous and giving it a 20% rating is still lower than pure dmg as assume it lasts 3 turns (2 is average btw) then 3 x 1.2 = 3.6 turns of dmg in 4 rounds. I think MC might be potentially borderline usable if you do 40-60k dmg and have capped off although I am unsure capped defence can drive dmg that low
